Finance Industry Trip to NYC
The Gwen M. Greene Center for Career Education and Connections invites you to participate in our annual Finance Industry Trip to New York City!
Explore the finance and banking industry by networking with employers and UR alumni! Learn more about career and internship opportunities by visiting companies such as Jefferies, EY, JPMorgan, Moelis, Nomura, OTC Markets, and Guggenheim Partners!
Program Details
Accompanied by Greene Center staff, students will visit 7-8 organizations, tour firms, and learn about the industry from alumni and recruiters.
Eligibility
The industry trip is open to sophomores who are interested in exploring the finance and banking sector. Space is limited to 25 students.
Program Dates
This trip takes place over Fall Break on October 14-15, 2019.
Timeline
The application deadline is Tuesday, September 10 at noon.
Notification of acceptance will be sent to students via e-mail on Friday, September 13.
Mandatory student orientation will take place on Wednesday, September 18 from 4-5 p.m.
Cost
Students must support their own travel and hotel accommodations to and from NYC . Meals will be provided by the Greene Center.
How to Apply
Interested students must submit a resume, statement of interest, and the attached application to this Handshake posting. A cover letter is not necessary as you will be indicating your interest in the statement of intent.

The Greene Center will select students based on the overall strength and quality of the application materials.
