UX/UI Designer Intern

Who are you: 
We’re looking for a collaborative intern who is excited to work closely with cross-functional teams across the company. You must be enrolled in a university level program. Some experience with UX design is preferred, and a bonus if you’ve studied design thinking and understand the function of research in design. 
You will help drive intelligent, insightful, human-centered storytelling and visual design, and data visualizations. 
 
You will help contribute to a culture of excellence and camaraderie, adding your passion and personality to a high-performing, fun and collaborative office. 
 
Key Responsibilities  
  • Create user-centered designs by considering 
  • Market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings
  • Tackle complex challenges by leveraging your visual communication skills to provide clarity and simplicity for our team and users 
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to your role 
  • Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches 
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and apply feedback to designs 

Requirements? 
  • Enrolled in a program related to Industrial Design, 
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive, and problem solve.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite   
  • Be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational management skills.
