Finance & Human Resources Associate

Finance & HR Associate:

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who has passion for both human resources and finance.  We are searching for a high performing professional to strengthen our company at its core so we have what it takes to deliver externally to our customers. Responsibilities will include:

Accounting & Finance - this position will help support the following:

  • AP & AR
  • Account reconciliation
  • Preparation of financial statements & reporting
  • Sales tax returns
  • Insurance renewals and collection of certificates of insurance from subcontractors
  • Maintenance of financial data in the necessary systems and other administrative duties as needed

Human Resources - this position will manage the following:

  • Recruitment, hiring, onboarding & the termination process
  • Payroll processing including calculation of OT & commission
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Benefits administration & billing reconciliation 
  • Employee training & development
  • Promotes the health and safety of the workplace and manages employee relations
  • Maintenance of employee data in the necessary systems and other administrative duties as needed

 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • The ability to manage all financial aspects of a small business
  • Strong customer service orientation in serving your internal customers so you can build strong relationships
  • Fierce ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Efficiency & accuracy are critical
  • Quick response time

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on accounting is preferred
  • Experience with Quickbooks and business management software (such as Tiger Paw) is preferred.
