If selected, students will receive a $5,000 stipend over a minimum 270-hour period in a non-for-profit organization in the Rochester, NY region.

Mary Cariola Center is seeking Marketing & Communications Intern. Mary Cariola Center is an independent not-for-profit organization that operates a school for children with multiple disabilities and complex medical needs located on three campuses in Rochester. Cariola also owns six residential homes for children and youth with severe behavioral issues and complex medical conditions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our high-performing team and gain exposure to all aspects of Marketing and Communication. The successful Intern will be provided the opportunity to utilize their skills and experiences to help improve the lives of people with disabilities. This internship will provide practical experiences through active participation, direct exposure, and engagement in a variety of functions. Interns will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Team, as well as Executive staff members to craft messaging as well as increase general community awareness for the agency.

The Marketing and Communications intern will work directly with the Director, Marketing & Communication and the Marketing Specialist. Assignments may include social media postings, E-Newsletter writing, and production, overview coordination of media buys, attending team meetings, drafting press releases and media alerts, and other marketing communications tasks. The objective for a high-energy applicant is twofold; assist in any and all overflow work from the department and gain as much knowledge as possible from the experience.
