$20.12-$24.85 (Compensation within this range determined by qualifications)

Duration:

Spring, Fall, Summer - beginning Spring of 2024

 

 

Overview

  • Spring/Fall: PT; Summer: FT
  • Interns work minimum 20 hours per week during the semester.

 

Job Duties

  • Provide advice and support to OGS business units with regard to sustainability initiatives.
  • Support data collection and analysis for reporting on key sustainability metrics.
  • Work with stakeholders to meet Executive Order 22 mandates, including 100% renewable electricity, diverting waste and green procurement.
  • Provide project management support to ensure initiatives are on track.
  • Support team members in developing project scopes and workplans, adjusting the timing of key deliverables and milestones as needed.

     

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate, graduate, PhD – Prefer graduate/PhD but open to undergraduate, pursing a degree in Architecture/Engineering, environmental policy or studies business or law. Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Team player approach to work and willingness to research and learn about new topics
  • Solution-oriented thinking, intellectual curiosity, and ability to seek out innovative, data-driven solutions to complex problems.
