About the Summer Analyst Position:
As a summer analyst, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. Summer analysts may work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities and work experiences may include:
- Analyzing economic, financial, and healthcare data using algorithms and statistical programming in Java, Python, R, SAS, Stata, VBA, and other programs
- Developing data analyses using statistical methods and analytical tools including econometric estimation of models, survival analysis, and machine learning
- Creating dynamic visualizations to rapidly explore data and models
- Examining market and industry behavior through targeted research
- Reviewing and summarizing reports and client documents
- Participating in meetings with academic experts and case team members
- Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and other client deliverables

- An undergraduate degree focus in computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects

Applicants are required to have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered. Analysis Group will provide immigration support to qualified candidates with STEM degrees.
At the end of the internship, summer analysts will be evaluated for a full time analyst offer in the office in which their internship takes place. Should you receive and accept an offer to join Analysis Group full time, we are invested in your professional development and growth, and provide multidimensional support for analysts who plan to apply to graduate school. After a few years with the firm, analysts often attend top M.B.A., J.D., Ph.D., or other masters programs. Analysis Group provides financial sponsorship for high-performing analysts interested in pursuing a full-time degree and returning to Analysis Group and to analysts interested in pursuing a part-time degree while continuing to work at Analysis Group. Analysts who join Analysis Group with advanced degrees have the opportunity to progress to the associate level and beyond.
