JCC Arts & Culture – Venue Coordinator Intern
General Job Summary
Support the Arts & Culture team by performing a variety of activities to coordinate and promote events. Represent JCC values by providing a welcoming environment centered on respect and courtesy for all guests and visitors.
We are able to customize the job responsibilities, below, based on your interests and skill sets. Responsibilities may include scenic construction and painting, working backstage during performance runs, assisting with marketing and social media to promote events.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with creation of sets, scenic construction including assembling, disassembling, and maintenance of stages during theater productions
· Serve as the point of contact for events, as assigned, to provide direction and oversight for event logistics
· Post social media communications to effectively publicize and promote events
· Assist the Arts & Culture team with securing sponsorships for events
· Provide support with additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma and experience working with theatre production or in an arts environment, preferred
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
