Keep an open mind and remember that it is okay not to know. Learning as you go is the best part of working with refugees, and you never know what you are going to come in to.
Also, be flexible. The need for the day may not be where you would like to have your focus but it is what is needed, and the best you can do is fill that immediate need.

What I liked
The fact that the work was so beneficial, and the opportunity to organize a food drive each week
